Terms of Use

Last updated: October 10, 2026

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Sergey Stovba, doing business as Cor (“Cor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply to Cor’s website, apps, and related services.

By creating an account or using Cor, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Cor. Our Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, and handle your information.

What Cor does

Cor is a personal finance app that helps you understand your accounts, transactions, spending, and financial patterns.

Cor is not a bank, lender, broker, investment adviser, or financial, tax, or legal adviser. Cor does not hold your money or provide payment or money-transfer services.

Information in Cor, including calculations, forecasts, classifications, savings suggestions, and AI-generated responses, is provided for general informational purposes. It may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. It is not professional advice or a guarantee of savings, eligibility, or financial results.

Verify important information with your financial institution, the relevant provider, or a qualified professional. Cor does not replace bank statements or your responsibility to monitor accounts, make payments, and meet deadlines.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.

Keep one personal account, provide accurate information, and protect your sign-in credentials and devices. Do not share access to your account. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may connect only financial accounts that belong to you or that you are legally authorized to access.

Bank connections

Cor uses Plaid to connect to financial institutions. By connecting an account, you authorize Cor to access and process the information made available through that connection to provide the features described in our Privacy Statement.

Your use of Plaid is also subject to the applicable Plaid terms and privacy policies.

Cor’s bank connections are read-only. Cor cannot transfer or withdraw money from your connected accounts.

You can disconnect a bank at any time. Disconnecting a bank does not, by itself, delete information already imported into Cor. See our Privacy Statement for deletion options.

Connection availability, refresh timing, and data accuracy depend partly on Plaid and your financial institution. Balances and transactions shown in Cor may differ from your bank’s current records.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

These restrictions do not prevent you from exporting and using your own information.

Your information and our software

You retain any rights you have in the information and content you provide. You give us permission to host, process, and transmit that information as needed to provide Cor and as described in our Privacy Statement. This permission does not transfer ownership to us.

You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions to submit information or files.

Cor’s software, design, branding, and other service materials belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use Cor for your personal purposes while you comply with these terms.

Third-party services and suggestions

Cor depends on third-party services and may show links, offers, or information from other providers. Those providers are responsible for their own services and terms.

A suggestion or link does not guarantee a provider’s reliability, a price, your eligibility, or a particular result. Review the relevant provider’s terms before acting.

Pricing and billing

Cor is a monthly subscription. Your first 30 days are offered at an introductory price (on the App Store, your first month); after them, Cor renews each month at the regular price until you cancel. Prices are shown before you subscribe. A lower price is available to eligible students, seniors, people with a disability, and people with a low income.

On the web, payments are processed by Stripe. In the mobile apps, Google Play or Apple’s App Store bills you under its own terms.

You can cancel at any time. Cor stays available until the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew after it.

Hibernate lowers your price while you are away: Cor is locked, and your information and bank connections are kept, at the lower monthly price shown before you choose it. You can wake Cor up at any time. Switching between hibernating and the regular price is prorated by the day, and you pay for the days at the regular price when you wake Cor up.

Deactivate account ends your subscription at the end of the period you have paid for and then disconnects your banks. Your information is kept until you sign in again. Starting again begins a new billing period.

Credit and refunds

Cor gives back only what you paid for and did not use.

When a change leaves paid time unused, for example when you hibernate, that time becomes credit on your account and pays your next bills. You can ask for credit of $10 or more to go back to your card under Settings › Billing.

Cancelling or deactivating ends Cor at the end of the period you have paid for; the rest of that period is not refunded.

Deleting your account ends your subscription immediately. For a subscription on the web, the unused part of the current period and any credit go back to your card. Google Play refunds the unused part of a Google Play subscription. A subscription through Apple’s App Store can be refunded only by Apple, on request.

No credit or refund is given for time that was not paid for.

Refunds go back to the original payment method. For help, use Support in the Cor app or email support@cor.money, and include the email address you use to sign in to Cor.

Changes, suspension, and ending service

We may update, change, or discontinue features. Where reasonably possible, we will give advance notice of changes that materially reduce the service or prevent access to your information.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these terms, create a security risk, use Cor unlawfully, or if we must do so to comply with law. We may act immediately when necessary to protect users or the service. Otherwise, where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

You may stop using Cor at any time. Account closure and data deletion are explained in our Privacy Statement and account deletion instructions.

No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cor is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, complete or current financial information, or accurate AI-generated results.

Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cor and Sergey Stovba will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of Cor, including lost profits, lost opportunities, or losses resulting from reliance on inaccurate information.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to Cor or these terms will not exceed US $100.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal basis of a claim. They do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect and identify its effective date.

Changes will apply prospectively. Where the law requires your express agreement, we will obtain it. Otherwise, continuing to use Cor after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law and disputes

Washington State law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere, disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and both parties consent to those courts’ jurisdiction.

Nothing in this section removes mandatory protections available under the laws where you live.

General

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

Provisions that by their nature should continue after account closure, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions, will survive.
